King's Ranch is a rural community-centered organization dedicated to strengthening the well-being of children, families, veterans, and communities through experiential learning, equine-assisted engagement, nature-based programs, and meaningful human connection. Located on 90 acres in northeastern Oklahoma, King's Ranch provides opportunities for individuals and groups to build resilience, develop healthy relationships, increase emotional regulation, strengthen leadership skills, and discover their capacity for growth. Through experiences that foster belonging, responsibility, confidence, and connection, we help participants navigate life's challenges while building the skills needed to thrive. Our vision is to create healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures by providing transformative experiences that reconnect people to themselves, to one another, and to the natural world.
Our Story
King's Ranch began with a simple belief: people heal, grow, and thrive through connection.

Jim and Carla Worley founded King's Ranch from their shared passion for helping others discover hope, resilience, and purpose. Jim's lifelong experience with horses and Carla's years of working with individuals and families revealed something powerful—horses, nature, and authentic relationships create opportunities for growth that are difficult to find anywhere else.

What started as a dream has grown into a place where children, families, veterans, and community members can experience connection, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills needed to navigate life's challenges.

Today, King's Ranch serves as a gathering place where people can slow down, reconnect with what matters most, and experience the transformative power of relationship, responsibility, nature, and community.
